Biden is smashing records everywhere:

Historic inflation, record illegal border entries, talks of death in winter and famine in springtime, and now this. Barack Obama really sold Joe short when he told people not to underestimate Biden's "ability to [flowerbed] things up."

Why it matters: The figure marks Biden's lowest approval rating since coming into office.

What he's saying: "What this poll says is that President Biden and Democrats are headed for a catastrophic election," Republican pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinions Strategy told NBC News.

At this point, only nuclear war would save Joe and his party. Maybe that's why he's trying so hard to start one.

Details: Republicans had a two-point lead when respondents were asked which party they'd like to see take control of Congress.

Remember, this is an NBC poll, which a good portion of us wouldn't touch with a 10-foot poll. If the cherrypicking propagandists at NBC admitted a 2-point preference for Republicans, it's waaaaay worse than that.

• Roughly 71% of respondents said they believed the nation is "off on the wrong track."
• Some 62% said their family's income is "falling behind" the cost of living, which respondents ranked as the most important issue facing the nation.

Sixty-three percent also disapproved of his handling of the economy.

Keep it up, Joe. After all, your campaign promise to bring unity is being fulfilled in the nation's distaste for you!
