Bro, this is why we can't have nice things.
Opening day at the Six Flags and we got this going on:
[Warning: Language, Violence]
I don't know about you guys, but when I go to Six Flags I'm there for the rides. Apparently some kids go there simply for the brawls and the drama.
(Imma talk about that in one sec.)
One person was shot during a gunfight with police outside of Six Flags Over Georgia, just after an "unruly" crowd of people sparked a massive brawl during the park's opening day on Saturday.
Cobb County Police responded to the amusement park just outside of Atlanta around 6 p.m. โ two hours before the park closed โ to help deal with a crowd fighting and causing problems inside the gates.
"A sizeable unruly crowd" of approximately 500 to 600 guests were "running through the park and fighting," the Cobb County Police said in a statement to WSB-TV.
Social media footage obtained by Fox 5 Atlanta captured nearly a dozen people kicking and punching a person on the ground before several ran away, leaving the beaten-up individual lying motionless.
An unknown number of suspects fired shots at police as security pushed the crowd out of the park.
The officers reportedly fired back, striking one person.
The individual, whose condition is not known, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Downtown Atlanta, approximately 11 miles east of the shooting.
The park confirmed the shooting but said it did not occur on Six Flags property.
Seriously, why?
Do these kids have nothing better to do than get in fights?
I mean, I know those lines are long and people like to cut, but can't we all enjoy the thrill of nearly dying on a rollercoaster without the fear of actually dying by gunfire?
Seems like an easy ask, however, all these fights led to the large group being kicked out and then they continued their shenanigans in the parking lot, someone got the guns out, and then that led to a shootout with police who were forced to come deescalate the situation. I'm sure somehow we'll find out it was the cops' fault for having to do their job.
I hate to point it out, but I have to, because the woke media won't, and the racists will, but you'll notice the teens fighting belong to the same people group.
Most or all of them are African American. Again, the media won't report this (they just say "teens" or "youths"), but the racists will plaster this around as proof that all black people are subhuman, so I have to talk about it so we have an honest discussion and stop avoiding it as a society.
I see fights like this happen daily between black Americans kids. It's horrible. It might cause normal people - people who haven't been programmed to fear the wokies - to wonder what happened to the black community. Like, we're 60 years into civil rights laws and state welfare and the non-nuclear, father-absent family, and these are the results. It's more complex than that, but also ... it isn't. The wokies want to excuse this behavior because of racism, but there have been a lot of people a heck of a lot more oppressed than black teens with their iPhones at Six Flags, and those groups never punched the crud out of each other at every opportunity.
Six Flags Over Georgia had a bit to say about this, and I'd really like to see the unedited version because I can only imagine the frustration.
It is incredibly disappointing that our community is disrupted at public events throughout the region by groups of underaged youth. Just like other venues in the area, we are committed to keeping this type of trouble outside our park and off our property. Our goal is to provide safe, fun entertainment. We employ state of the art security systems and metal detection, maintain a robust and vigilant Public Safety Department, and have strong support from Cobb County Police who are present both inside and outside the park. Every guest is expected to follow our strict code of conduct and anyone unwilling to follow that code of conduct is unwelcome.
Man, when I was a kid we treated Six Flags with respect. It was like a holy place of sorts.
I'll leave this right here for ya as you ponder how we reach our kids with discipline and the hope of the Gospel, because Lord knows the wokies have let them down:
