Hunter Biden has settled in court with the woman he impregnated over 4 years ago when she was working as a stripper in Arkansas, on the condition that their daughter, Navy, can't use the Biden name.
Lunden Roberts, 32, brought a paternity case to court with the request that Navy's surname be changed to "Biden" given DNA results that proved Hunter was the father. She argued that Navy would "benefit from carrying the Biden family name."
Hunter Biden currently pays Roberts and Navy $20,000 a month in child support, but has never met Navy and refuses to acknowledge her. The same holds true for his father, President Joe Biden, who often talks about his grandkids but excludes Navy on every occasion.
Neither the court nor Roberts' attorney, Clinton Lancaster, have confirmed the details of the settlement, although the New York Post reported last week that the agreement would reduce Hunter's child support payments to $5,000.
Hunter had previously tried to claim that he couldn't make adequate payments because he said he was struggling financially.
(What a ween.)
The court ordered him to produce documents proving "loss of earnings", but Hunter was too busy, I guess.
After failing to meet court-issued deadlines to provide the documents, a judge ordered him to appear in person at last week's deposition, which resulted in the two reaching a settlement.
Hunter, who is being treated with kid gloves by the DOJ over serious crimes ranging from lying to purchase a gun to tax evasion to bribery involving his father and enemies of the state, had previously asked the judge to bar Navy from taking the family name. He claimed that this was to allow Navy to have a "peaceful existence."
