Pew Research says 25% of 40-year-old Americans have never been married, up 19% from 1980

This is bonkers.

As of 2021, 25% of 40-year-olds in the United States had never been married. This was a significant increase from 20% in 2010, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data.

Also important:

While many unmarried 40-year-olds are living with a romantic partner, most are not. In 2022, 22% of never-married adults ages 40 to 44 were cohabiting.

That's brutal. Married homes are one of the primary indicators for healthy societies, but not only are we lacking in that area, but even fewer people (somehow) are living with a romantic partner.

It ain't looking good, my peeps.

A few interesting stats:

  • Gender: A higher share of men than women had never married.
  • Race and ethnicity: Black 40-year-olds were much more likely to have never married than Hispanic, White and Asian 40-year-olds.
  • Education level: 40-year-olds without a four-year college degree were more likely to have never married than those who had completed at least a bachelor's degree.

I feel like this is a good time for someone to remind us that our nation will quite literally cease to exist in a few decades unless we have babies.

When you then take into account all the people these days who identify as a member of the rainbow ABCs and the massive push to trans the kids, the chance for having kids in the future is even lower. Americans are literally going extinct.

I guess there's a silver lining: Like woke Americans concerned about climate, identity, and abortion, the ancients also worshipped the sun and sex gods and sacrificed their kids. Their depravities were wiped from the world.

As it turns out, it's the people who keep getting married and having kids that make history, and that's a glimmer of hope in clown world!
