Whoopsie daisy, Big Gretch!
So Gretchen Whitmer, Queen of Michigan (May She Live Forever), was busted for violating her own Rona orders because a friend uploaded that pic of her having a grand ol' time in a Lansing bar over the weekend.
Who's the other lady without her face blurred? Oh it's Whitmer's chief operations officer, Tricia Foster. She doesn't care about the rules either.
The person published the photo to Facebook as one in a group of pics, then quickly deleted it when she realized she just outed her governor friend for being a raging hypocrite. She then reposted a bunch of pics, minus any that included Queen Whitmer or her aide.
The pic of Whitmer and at least 12 other individuals gathering in a restaurant to have a good time like normal people is a violation of her restaurant capacity order (issued just 9 days ago!) outlining "gathering limitations for entertainment establishments, recreational establishments, and food service establishments":
b. Gatherings are prohibited at food service establishments, whether indoor or outdoor, unless:
- Consumption of food or beverages is permitted only in a designated dining area where patrons are seated, groups of patrons are separated by at least 6 feet, no more than 6 patrons are seated together (at a table, booth, or group of fixed seats), and groups of patrons do not intermingle
Caught red-handed, the Queen of the Great Lakes had her press secretary issue this apology:
