I mean we kinda already knew what a global nuclear exchange would look like. We at least knew it would be nightmarish. But this is...well, it's sobering.

A terrifying simulation shows how a nuclear strike from Russia could trigger a war that kills 34 million people in just five hours.

Known as 'Plan A', the four-minute animation aims to highlight the 'potentially catastrophic' consequences of conflict between Russia and NATO countries.

This sucker was first built in 2017 but, alas, it has never been more relevant than it is today:

The haunting, doom-laden synth score really doesn't help things here.
