Professor Ibram Kendi and Boston University will shut down the Center for Antiracist Research on June 30 as the "antiracism" proponent moves to Howard University.
Everybody, everywhere, upon hearing that the Center for Antiracist Research is closing:
You may know Ibram Kendi as the literary luminary responsible for such towering American tomes as "Antiracist Baby."
It's worth noting that, as far-left and tiresome as Kendi's politics are, his "center for antiracist research" appears to have been little more than a huge money pit:
In 2023, meanwhile, he faced "an investigation and harsh criticism from numerous colleagues complaining of financial mismanagement, dysfunctional leadership, and failure to honor obligations attached to its millions in grant money."
In spite of his utter lack of work and allegations of malfeasance, however, it turns out that Kendi isn't giving up the antiracism gambit just yet:
Kendi will start a similar center at the Washington, D.C. historically black university, focused on 'advancing research of importance to the global African Diaspora, including inquiry into race, technology, racism, climate change, and disparities.'
The 'Institute for Advanced Study' will be '[b]uilt on the highest standards of intellectual inquiry,' according to a news release from Howard.
Somehow, though, I think Kendi's influence on the race-obsessed left wing of the United States will continue:
