What in the world is going on in Iowa?
ICE agents have arrested a man who is an illegal alien from Guyana who has had deportation orders since last year. The man is Dr. Ian Andre Roberts, and he's the superintendent of public schools in Des Moines, Iowa.
Talk about the American dream!
This dude came to the US on a student visa last century, illegally overstayed it, and drew a massive six-figure taxpayer salary in deep-red Iowa.

But it appears that that is exactly what happened here.
The superintendent knew the jig was up and FLED the cops! The guy who is in charge of education in Des Moines! And he also had a previous weapons charge on top of everything!
It's not often that a story flabbergasts me, but this one is leaving me speechless.
