Joe Biden may have thought that the job of being president would be as easy as taking candy from a baby. His policies, however, have the disastrous effect of actually taking candy away from babies.

The price of candy for your Easter baskets this year has gone through the roof, thanks to the Biden Administration's catastrophic economic policies.

The New York Post did a survey comparing the price of easter candy pre-pandemic in 2019 vs. the price today and the results are staggering.

Soaring costs of raw materials such as milk, sugar and cocoa, and a shortage of aluminum used to make wrappers, have sparked a surge in the cost of candy, making it more expensive than ever for the Easter Bunny to fill baskets on April 17...

A Post survey of seasonal sweets shows the average cost of an Easter basket has skyrocketed to $61.83, up from $50.46 in the pre-pandemic spring of 2019. That's an increase of 22.5%, more than double the already historic 9% percent inflation rate in the same period.

So, beyond inflation, the Biden economic plan and supply issues have made the price of the ingredients in candy rise 22.5% in just three years. This is absolutely out of control.

This is a visual representation of what Biden and his gang are doing to the Easter bunny:

Check out the details and how much more it'll cost the Easter bunny to put candy in your children's basket.

Mitch Cohen of Economy Candy on the Lower East Side reports rising costs across the board since 2019: ever-popular confections such as Hershey's bars and Kit Kats have risen from 99 cents each to $1.25 each (26%); the price of jelly beans has grown from $3.99 to $4.99 per pound (25%); and a medium-sized 6-ounce chocolate bunny has risen from $4.99 to $5.99 (20%).

Here's a chart breaking down the massive increases:

The prices add up quickly. Multiply this number by 3 or 4 kids and the Easter Bunny may just have to scale back on baskets this year.

Biden's economic policies hurt the most vulnerable Americans and this Easter study is just the latest example.
