Paul Farrel was hiking alone along Mount Rinjani in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, when he slipped and fell ... 650 feet.

For reference, that's roughly the height of Trump Tower in New York City.

But like Bruce Willis in the superhero thriller Unbreakable, Farrel survived with very minor injuries.

Iptu Nikolas Osma, chief of Public Relations of the East Lombok Police, said, 'The victim allegedly slipped because the location is sandy.

'The joint search and rescue team managed to evacuate him.

'From the results of the medical team's examination, he only suffered minor injuries to the shoulder.

'His general condition is currently healthy.'

650 Feet! And his general condition is "currently healthy."

Not only that, when the rescuers found him, Farell was calmly smoking a cigarette under the shade of a rock outcropping.

Though once they got him up the side of the cliff, he was excited and grateful.

He told them: 'Thank you so much. You boys saved my life. I would never have been able to get back without you. I'm going to stay safe after this and not go too far from my hotel.'

Authorities say the place where he slipped was very near the spot a 16-year-old fatally slipped just a week before.

Farell is either incredibly lucky ... or this is the beginning of his superhero journey.
