Is Ford taking a shot at Elon Musk with this new ad?
· May 6, 2022 · NottheBee.com

Yo, the people over at Ford Motor Company must have a little obsession with Elon Musk, cuz look at this ad.

For those of you who can't do sound:

"Right now it could seem like the only people who matter are the loudest. Those who want to tear things down and then fly away on their own personal spaceships when things get hard. But we've got 182,000 people and they're building. Big things. New things. Things-that-will-change-the-way-we-do things. Assembling-more-vehicles-in-the-U.S.-than-any-other-automaker things. 50-billion-dollars-committed-to-electric-vehicle things. And you might not know their names, but these people get up every day working together to move us all forward."

Wow.

Pretty obvious shot at Papa Elon right there.

It's a bit over the top for a motor company whose electric vehicle sales represent only 2.5% of all U.S. sales in the category. This, compared to Musk's Tesla, which is 100% electric and dominates the market with 54% of all EV sales nationwide.

It's almost as if Ford is, uh, jealous, might you say?

We see so much hate directed at Elon.

And for what reason?

  • Because he genuinely cares about the future of our planet?
  • Because he very much enjoys the idea of truth and freedom?

No.

It's jealousy.

That's it.
