Isn't it the law that the government can't endorse a specific church or religion?

Imagine this for a moment:

Would non-Christians allow their government to publicly endorse Jesus-followers like that? Would they allow our public schools to celebrate a religious holiday?

Of course not! We can't even call it "Christmas" on school calendars anymore!

So why the heck is the U.S. government allowed to support an ideological movement with a philosophical framework that has creeds, professions of faith, catechisms, concepts of sin and human nature, and teachings on morality??
