UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. EST: President Joe Biden has confirmed that Yahya Sinwar is dead:

Holy moly they got him:

From NBC News:

The Israeli military said Thursday it is "checking the possibility" Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was among three militants killed in Gaza during its operations in the enclave.

Sinwar was declared Hamas' new political head in August following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.

If he is indeed dead, killing the man accused of being the architect of the Oct. 7 terror attack would be a major coup for Israel and its war in the Gaza Strip.

In a joint statement, the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency, or Shin Bet, said at least three militants were killed in a building. They did not expand on how they were killed.

Putting aside all the arguments about the war, I'm going to tell you a simple fact:

The way that Israel has conducted its military campaign against Hamas and Hezbollah with surgical precision is going to be studied for decades.

Israel has conducted this war with a relentless, meticulous exactitude.

It has taken out the heads of Hamas and Hezbollah with creative tactics that minimize the loss of civilian life - tactics that will redefine urban warfare.

There are pictures of the dead body that is alleged to be Sinwar. I will not show them here in full (half his skull is caved in), but the face and the dental structure is extremely similar. Consider the top row of teeth:

[Warning: I am ONLY showing teeth here, but understand that this still depicts a dead body, so reader discretion is advised]

The body also has a similar mole next to the left eye.

If it is Sinwar, then the architect of the terror attack on October 7th, 2023 that massacred hundreds of Israelis has now met his Maker to face judgement.
