Remember these diverse "Snow White" dwarves that became a meme back in the summer?

And who can forget this?

It's not 1937. She's not gonna be saved by the prince and she's not going to be dreaming about true love. She's dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be.

Well, it looks like Disney is backpedaling on using a bunch of woke randos and one little person, and they're going to use CGI dwarves instead.

(We'll see if they keep all the woke writing in there.)

It looks like shining a light on idiocy does work to repel these things.

Disney on Friday announced it is delaying the release of its live-action Snow White movie starring Rachel Zegler by a year from March 22, 2024 to March 21, 2025. The film, which is officially titled Disney's Snow White, is among the studio's biggest offerings of the year, and is one of the anchors of its spring slate.

They blame the writer's strike, but I think we all know what's going on here.

I'll go ahead and wait for the one dwarf guy — Peter Dinklage I think his name is — to come with some backlash here. But CGI dwarves are a great compromise.

Hopefully they take all the woke garbage out of the film, too, cuz Disney knows that just doesn't bring in a profit these days!
