A team of researchers is claiming to have discovered massive structures under Egyptian pyramids that may rewrite the understanding of how they were built and even the history of Egypt itself.
Critics, however, have dismissed the claims as "unfounded" and "fake."
The research team, led by controversial archeologist Corrado Malanga (the guy loves to appear on UFO podcasts), used radar pulses from satellites to scan the ground beneath the pyramids to produce images like this:
The team used the data to render a 3D model of what they say appears to be a "vast underground city."
They say that grainy radar photo actually depicts a series of hollow columns lined by spiral pathways that lead down to two massive underground chambers:
What could this mean?
Even Joe Rogan, who's never one to ignore a good conspiracy theory, was theorizing about it.
[Warning: Language]
The claims were labeled "false" by Snopes, which cited several critics in the archaeology community that dismissed the claims as "spin on already questionable research conducted in 2022 that was subsequently embellished by a variety of right-wing content creators like conspiracy website Infowars."
Several others have raised concerns about the claims. Professor Lawrence Conyers says "I could not tell if the technology used actually picked up hidden structures below the pyramid," and calls the claims "a huge exaggeration."
Like I mentioned above, a quick online search of Corrado Malanga indicates the guy might be a bit of a UFO crackpot:
Either way, the memes have been great:
Let's be real though: We all know the pyramids were REALLY constructed by the Nephilim 😉
What do you think?
