You guys, it's only a matter of time before the rioters return to our big cities for another round of destruction. Usually, for some reason, it happens during an election year, so look for them to arrive in a few month's time, maybe a year tops.
Anyhow, the reason we're here: Jason Aldean, a country superstar, has released a new song challenging these rioters to do their business in a small town — instead of one of our easy-on-crime big cities — and see how far they get with their little temper tantrum. He makes a great point, and hits on some other touchy issues as well, so without further ado, I'll leave you the music video along with the lyrics below.
Yeah, I'd say that's pretty spot on…
Some are calling this track racist, or so pro-gun it's scary, but we all know that's just the lefties trying to draw attention away from the fact that their cities essentially promote left-wing violence by allowing rioters to do whatever they want in the streets. It's disgusting.
So I'm not even going to give that take the time of day.
Anyhow, here are the lyrics for you:
Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough
Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Full of good ol' boys, raised up right
If you're looking for a fight
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Ooh-ooh
Try that in a small town
