Over the Easter weekend, Tammy Peterson, wife of conservative commentator and clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, joined the Catholic Church.

Here is the moment Tammy Peterson officially entered the Catholic Church during the Easter vigil Mass last night. Her husband Jordan Peterson sat by her side for the two-hour vigil in Toronto's Holy Rosary Church. After, Jordan asked her if she felt like she had come home to which she replied, "Yes."

Jordan Peterson himself has flirted with religion and Christianity for years. He's even done lecture tours and documentary series on entire books of the Old Testament.

However, Peterson has not formally joined any church or religious organization.

Will his wife joining the Catholic Church provide a path toward faith for Peterson? He seems excited for his wife.

The Relevant Radio story that Peterson shared shed some light on Tammy's pursuit of faith and how her healing from cancer led her to the Catholic Church.

She found Catholicism after her diagnosis of terminal renal cell carcinoma … and the sudden discovery of another serious cancer. She was given about ten months to live, and the stress of her illness closely coincided with her husband's rise in popularity. Through the support of a Catholic priest and a close friend who had converted to Catholicism, Tammy began to pray the Rosary through the ups and downs of her illness. Tammy also prayed a Novena for the Sick given to her. Her recovery came suddenly on the fifth day of her novena, and she returned home with a new love for living and a resolve to give abundantly.

In the interview with Relevant Radio, the interviewer asked Jordan if he could see himself taking the same step. Here's what he said:

Well, I'm married to her, so whatever happens to her happens to me. It's not like it's separable.

One thing is for sure.

This family is close to the kingdom.
