Remember the stupid smiley guy who was part of the January 6th riot and famously stole Nancy Pelosi's lectern while he wandered around the Capitol (making sure to respect the velvet ropes in an orderly fashion)?

Yeah, well a judge just handed him an extremely harsh misdemeanor sentence.

And in his sentencing, the judge compared this dude's action to Russia invading Ukraine.

What is this judge thinking???

Yes, breaking into the Capitol and stealing the lectern was wrong, but what the heck does that have to do with Russia and Ukraine???

Are these judges so blindly partisan that literally everything has to be compared to January 6th now?

People are dying. A sovereign nation has been invaded. And lefties like this judge still want us to think that the smiley Chip-Gaines-lookalike meandering peacefully through the Capitol is a symbol of the end of democracy.

This judge is really trying to say that if he doesn't punish Nancy Pelosi lectern thief America could look like an active warzone.

Absolutely unreal.
