Holy cow.

One day after a jury ordered Alex Jones to pay $4.1 million in compensatory damages to the parents of Jesse Lewis, a 6-year-old who was murdered during the Sandy Hook massacre, the same jury has now ordered Jones to pay $45.2 MILLION in punitive damages to the same parents.

That is a whole lot of dough.

The parents' attorney ended their case by saying:

"We ask that you send a very very simple message, and that is, stop Alex Jones. Stop the monetization of misinformation and lies. Please."

Jones' attorney was arguing for punitive damages of $250,000. The parents were seeking $150 million.

Apparently the judge can still reduce the amount of damages. We will keep you updated.
