Sometimes people get confused.
And it seems like Nancy Pelosi gets confused a lot.
In a recent press conference, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was asked about gas prices. Specifically, about how Americans are blaming the Democrats for the high inflation.
And my goodness was Pelosi confused! Completely bewildered by the thought that high gas prices are the Democrats‘ fault.
Well, luckily this lovely post by Matt Whitlock explains it perfectly.
Whitlock tweeted a split screen of two posts from Capitol Hill that happened at the exact same time.
When asked about why Americans would blame Democrats for their inflation and gas prices crises, Pelosi babbled on, "Why would we say that?" … "I don't think what you said is making very much sense."
Well... if you just look over here...
Just as Pelosi was speaking, the Energy Secretary went ahead and cleared up any confusion as to why Americans may be blaming Democrats.
Joe Biden's Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm says they are "committed to reducing the use of oil and gas."
The truth is, Democrats don't actually care about the average American.
They‘d rather just push their ideological agenda.
And it's an agenda they don't even follow themselves.
Granholm was simply asked how she got herself to Capitol Hill and guess what? It was a Suburban-led motorcade.
AKA a gas-guzzler.
