Remember that PR crisis Governor JB Pritzker had when one of Chicago "peacekeepers" got arrested in robbery turned fatal?

Welp, CWBChicago reports that yet another of Pritzker's "peacekeepers" just got arrested.

In this case, it was for assaulting a police officer while trying to obstruct an arrest in process.

[Warning: Language]

The man with the V on his shirt has been identified as Chester Alexander.

Alexander and others ‘began to yell "let him go,"' and Alexander ‘began stating that he was a peace keeper.' The officer clarified that Alexander was a ‘violence interrupter [in the] city of Chicago program.'

"Peacekeeper" and "violence interrupter" are a couple of Orwellian terms that do not mean what they seem to mean, as you'll soon see.

The police report says that Alexander clinched his fists and acted aggressively, and the officer attempted to redirect him by pushing him away.

That's when Alexander punched the officer in the face.

‘At that time is when Chester Alexander swung his left hand and struck [an officer] with his closed fist and immediately took a fighting stance while holding both hands close to his face,' the report continued.

That officer ‘performed closed hand strikes to Alexander about the chest and performed knee strikes to his stomach area as assisting officers placed handcuffs on Alexander,' according to the report.

After Alexander was handcuffed, the officers searched him, and Pritzker's peacekeeper was carrying 24 tabs of ecstasy.

Also he was driving a stolen car … and also had a revoked driver's license … and also had a warrant for another narcotics charge.

But according to Governor Pritzker, Alexander is the one doing the hard work of community violence prevention!
