So I was on Youtube watching an unrelated video when an ad popped up from Barilla. Normally, I wouldn't click an ad from a pasta company (lol, who would?), but this one caught my eye because it featured my all-time sports hero, Roger Federer. I've played tennis competitively my whole life, and Roger has always been the epitome of a sportsman and the greatest ambassador for tennis the sport has ever seen. So naturally, I was a little intrigued.
I didn't know what to expect when I clicked the link, but what I got was a pretty touching, classy commercial for pasta that features Roger fulfilling a five year old promise to one of his young (and super talented) fans. It was a great commercial, one that focuses on keeping promises and genuinely caring for others. I'm not sure why it's a pasta commercial, haha, but it's still a nice message and a really incredible experience for this young tennis player. Give it a watch, I think you'll find it as fun and touching and awesome as I did...
