Just when you thought Ilhan Omar couldn't be any more awful ...
Much has been made about how evil some of the online reactions have been following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, but seeing a disgusting response from a sitting member of the U.S. Congress is another level. Behold, the vileness of Ilhan Omar:
As reported by the New York Post, Omar took to the internet — less than 24 hours after Kirk was brutally murdered — and rattled off what seemed to be her reasons for justifying his killing.
'Squad' Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) went on a cruel rant about murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk, scoffing at the notion that his core mission was to have a civil debate on politics.
'There are a lot of people who are talking about him [Kirk] just wanting to have a civil debate,' Omar sneered to progressive outlet Zeteo. 'These people are full of s — and it's important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness.'
Omar further cemented her status as one of the most awful people to ever serve in Congress (which is saying something) by implying that the outpouring of love and grief for Kirk and his family was an attempt at "whitewashing" a record that she apparently believes made him deserving of death.
'There is nothing more f — ed up than to pretend that his words and actions haven't been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so,' she added, further accusing Kirk of posting 'hateful rhetoric' on social media.
Omar's online behavior only got worse from there.
