I looked up "buying votes" on the internet this morning and was greeted with this fun video of Kamala Harris talking about canceling student loans for millions of Americans during an election year.
Yes, totally legit, nothing to see here, folks.
If you paid undergraduate loans for more than 20 years or graduate loans for more than 25 years, those loans will be completely forgiven regardless of your income, and even if you did not graduate. And forgiveness will be automatic for the vast majority of the 25 million people that we believe will benefit from this approach.
Yup, Kamala met with public service workers in Philadelphia yesterday to talk to them about how the Biden Administration's vote buying — ahem, I mean, student loan forgiveness — program is impacting their lives.
She wrote on Instagram:
President Biden and I have a new plan to forgive loans for millions more Americans, including teachers, nurses, social workers, and more.
I guess they really think they can promise this to all the people who got burned by the exact same promise in 2020!
Man, I wonder what the reaction would've been had Trump gone with a vote-buying program such as this ...
