Elderly NYC woman pushed down stairs on way into church, robbed of her belongings and her car

What a sad world we live in, folks.

This poor old lady was walking up the steps of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Queens, NYC — just trying to go to church — when a man ran up on her, pushed her back down the stairs, stole her purse, and then stole her car as well.

Disgusting video incoming:

Lock him up and throw away the key. There's no room for people like this on the streets, though I fear in New York City they'll make some room and let him off easy if they catch him.

Some details:

The victim was initially hospitalized in critical condition, but [Pastor] Kalogridis said he had since visited her and her condition had stabilized …

The woman's stolen purse held $300, a cellphone, a credit card, and — conveniently for the suspect — her car keys, authorities said.

🙏🙏🙏

The car: A 2006 Nissan Altima.

Just a regular parishioner trying to go to church, and this kid goes and ruins her day — nearly kills her! Then, on top of that, he steals her belongings and her car.

Yes, there is a special place in the eternal fire for peeps like this guy.

NYPD says they will increase their presence in the area of this church during the Orthodox Lent season.

And let's hope they find this scumbag before he strikes again.
