Kansas City, MO seeks to become "LGBT sanctuary city" in effort to defy state laws protecting kids from sex change surgeries

Missouri's Attorney General has become an absolute rockstar, using his position to put an emergency stop to trans-ing the kids after revelations about trans surgeries on minors at St. Louis Children's Hospital and setting up a hotline to report any doctors trans-ing the kids.

In response to this, Republicans in Missouri are looking to make a law banning transgender surgeries on minors with the SAFE Act.

The libs in Kansas City, MO are taking the news that they can't trans the kids pretty hard – because they really, really want to trans the kids – and they have begun the process to make Kansas City a safe harbor for people who want to mutilate children.

The resolution, which was proposed by LGTBQ advocates in Kansas City, says the city will not prosecute or fine any person or organization that seeks, provides, receives or helps someone receive gender-affirming care such as as puberty blockers, hormones and surgery.

It also says if the state passes a law or resolution that imposes criminal or civil punishments, fines, or professional sanctions in such cases, personnel in Missouri's largest city will make enforcing those requirements "their lowest priority."

They are actively making plans to ignore the law and allow procedures that mutilate kids and adults to flourish in their city.

This is absolute bloodthirsty madness.

The resolution also says city personnel will not arrest or detain anyone sought by another jurisdiction for seeking gender-affirming care, respond to requests for information from other jurisdictions, or collect any civil penalties in such cases.

The city wants to protect people who make their living by butchering children in "gender-affirming" procedures.

There are a few steps before this becomes policy, but it will come up before the city council this week if it passes in two different committees.
