Here's something you'll find easy to believe: Apparently the idea started out as an April Fools' joke, and they even dropped the above Instagram post on April 1.

Hismile marketing manager Koban Jones said in a statement. ‘We love pushing boundaries, and what better way to do that than by bringing KFC's legendary flavors into an everyday essential? This collab is bold, unexpected, and seriously fun.'
Many fools were fooled by this.
Other sold-out Hismile flavors include Gummy Bear, Orange Soda, Pina Colada, and The Simpsons Purple Squishee Toothpaste.
In other news, some - meaning just me - have speculated that this paste could just be the same filling used to make McDonald's famous McNuggets.
