Don't worry guys, Karen Bass may have jetted out of the country during the early days of the wildfire that wiped out billions of dollars in property, decimating her city, and destroying thousands of lives ...
But don't worry! Bass says she'll get to the bottom of it!
Reporter: We know that there was warnings about the weather before you went (to Ghana) and you still went. What was the thought process behind going to Ghana?
Bass: ... It was going to be a very, very, short trip over a weekend and two business days. We need to look at everything about the preparation and all that for the fires because I think when we evaluate that we will find although there were warnings, that I frankly wasn't aware of, although there were warnings ... our preparation it wasn't what it typically is.
She's blaming her people for not communicating with her just how dangerous the situation was. She said there were warnings, but she didn't hear about them.

What in the world is she even saying here? That her entire office is a failure and you can't blame her for running off to Africa on a fancy state event?
Bass: When I talked about it with the fire chief ... we have warnings of Santa Ana winds a lot but predicting this ... it didn't reach that level to me to say something terrible could happen and you shouldn't really have gone on the trip.
Reporter: Why did that happen?
Bass: I don't know. I think that's one of the things we need to look at.

This lady is in charge of the city. The entire city failed. She left the CONTINENT during an emergency.
And what do you want to bet her investigation into herself will show no wrongdoing by anyone in authority?
Los Angeles: A complete joke.
