New York has been trying to close down prisons because of a supposed "over-incarceration" problem (something the Jordan Neely case disproved), and last year they shut down the infamous Riker's Island because they apparently don't think as many criminals should go to jail.

Now New York has found a reason to reopen the prison, but it's not because of the massive criminal problem.

The compassionate sanctuary city of New York loves immigrants SO MUCH that they're going to... put them in jail.

If this was an Arizona border town Democrats would be all over it like stink on a monkey!

But Eric Adams is so fed up with illegal aliens being brought to his "sanctuary" city, courtesy of Greg Abbott and others, that he's willing to house them in shuttered prisons.

They can't lock up the thousands of criminal homeless in the city, but if you send one more of those illegal immigrants it's the slammer for them!

If Trump is in office, he's called mean for not letting illegal aliens in or putting them in holding facilities (kiDs iN cAgeS). But now that Biden is letting them in by the millions, not only are the "compassionate" Democrats housing the illegals in prisons, but the media won't say a peep about it.

The irony would be delicious if the border crisis wasn't so bad!
