A few months back, we talked about how incoming Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was determined to exercise her Second Amendment rights in Congress.

While Democratic legislators have installed metal detectors that now prevent their colleagues from carrying a personal firearm on the floor of Congress, Boebert did just receive her concealed permit to carry throughout D.C.

The real story here isn't about a 5-foot-tall, 100-pound woman receiving a constitutionally valid license to legally bear arms for self defense. Nope, the actual story is the fact that this is even being hyped by the media at all.

To be fair, Boebert has done a bit of grandstanding to make her positions known. Such is the life of a politician.
