Not satire!
Two points of irony on this gem:
1) Kilmar has been living in America illegally for years, and yet his English proficiency is so low that he has a translator speak on his behalf.
2) The official languages of Uganda are both Swahili and ENGLISH.
Following his lawyer's logic, this means deporting him to Uganda is "preposterous" because Ugandans don't speak Spanish.
In that case, why wasn't he happy when we deported him to his home country of El Salvador earlier this year??
