Ryan Webb is a County Councilman in Delaware County, Indiana and he is making lefties BIG MAD with his recent announcement that he is now a trans-lesbian-woman of color.
I guess the Leftists are the REAL racists, transphobes, homophobes, etc.
Please, please watch this local news coverage where the anchor has to deliver this entire story with a straight face:
Here's his post on Facebook that created the controversy:
** For Immediate Release **
After much consideration I have decided to come out and finally feel comfortable announcing my true authentic self. It is with great relief that I announce to everyone that I identify as a woman and not just any woman but as a woman of color as well. I guess this would make me gay/lesbian as well , since I am attracted to women.
Whew, that felt good to finally get that out there and start living life as my true self. I'm excited to bring some diversity to the county council. Until today we didn't have any females of color or LGBTQIAPC+++ on the council. I'm glad that now we do!
To avoid confusion, everyone can continue to address me as Ryan or as Councilman Webb. I will also retain my my preferred pronouns of He/Him, however, this will in no way diminish my true identity as a woman of color. I'm excited to be a vocal partner of the LGBTQIAPC+++ movement. Who knows just how far we can take things, but I'm just glad that this is now possible so ANYONE can be ANYTHING or ANYONE they want.
God bless America
It has come to my attention that I am more than likely the very first lesbian woman of color in the history of Delaware County to ever serve on the Delaware county council. I am honored to be the one to shatter that glass ceiling. #GirlPower
The comments on the post are SO funny. They are SO mad.
They can't explain WHY he isn't allowed to live by his chosen identity, but they are still defending the rights of others to do the exact same thing.
BUT IT GETS BETTER!
This local dude pretending to be a woman got involved:
That's Charlize Jamieson, and as a brave trans person in a wig, he decided to get involved against this obvious bigotry.
"Was this really necessary?" said Jamieson. "It's unbecoming of an elected official ... or a decent human being for that matter."
Webb fired back this gem:
Charlize Jamieson do you think you have the only password to the forbidden world of coming out? When you decided to become a woman did people tell you it was unbecoming? Sorry pal but you don't get to be the decipher of who is acceptable and who isn't. I was hoping that you and I could be friends now that we're both ladies that used to be men. I'll give you some more time.
Thank you, Ryan Webb, for being a brave woman of color!
