If you didn't know, Lysistrata is an ancient Greek comedy where women refused to have sex until their husbands stopped killing each other in the Peloponnesian War.

Here, it's apparently being invoked to allow the killings to resume, but it's no less a comedy than the Greek version!

Elsewhere, people were arguing that unmarried women should [checks notes] ensure that a man signs a contract of sorts that legally binds him into the relationship so that she and their child can be financially supported.

There used to be a word for such a contract. It starts with "M" I think. Whatever it is, leftists are saying that women should wait to be in that binding relationship before having kids. What a novel idea!!

I'm not the only one who noticed the irony at play here.

You gotta love it.
