These guys nailed the biggest problem with pumping thousands of foreigners into their small Pennsylvania town. Let's talk about it.

The media wants you to believe that these thoughts are racist.

We reported on Charleroi last week as America continues to have a conversation about migrants being flown into small Midwest towns with the goal of using them for cheap labor replacements.

Something about the first man's testimony stood out the most to me.

Did you catch it?

Say that you're an Ohio State football fan. There's an entire culture that involves generations of families and their traditions. You have chants, songs, and symbols that have deep meaning to you. The colors scarlet and grey are sacred to you. You have pride.

Now imagine that some Michigan fans started attending your games - even the games that aren't against Michigan. They say they want to be OSU fans, but they still wear the Michigan colors and aren't interested in your Buckeye traditions.

The NEW Buckeye fans

Pretty soon, busloads of them are turning up. Within weeks, a third of the 102,000-person capacity at Ohio Stadium is filled with a sea of Maize and Blue. For some reason, they have all the good seats. It turns out that someone has purchased them all season tickets. They have free meal vouchers too. Some of them even express interest in joining the alumni association and other school groups so they can make decisions about the team.

(They especially think the team mascot is dumb and want to replace it with a wolverine.)

The new Ohio State colors, logos, and mascot!

OSU fans, demanding an answer, find out that the president of OSU and the board of directors have used donor money - your money - to pay for tens of thousands of these Michigan fans to have seats at the 50-yard line during every game.

How would you feel? How would the cohesion of your community be affected? Would you be enthusiastic? Would people be excited about the future? What long-term effects might there be from the resulting arguments, distrust, frustrations, stress, and rifts in the community?

"But they bring so much to the community! They spend so much at local stores!" OSU's president then says to CNN, noting that these "newcomers" need to be treated as fellow Buckeye fans.

Wouldn't such a thing be utterly ridiculous? Wouldn't OSU fans riot and kick the president to the curb in a millisecond?

If that's what we do for sportsball games, what about nations?

Ponder these things for a serious minute.
