A woman who goes by "Vegan Patriot" was live-streaming while smoking weed when she hit a pedestrian with her car. If that isn't California enough for you, watch what happened afterward.

After the "bump," the influencer stopped the car and asked the woman she just hit if she was okay.
Someone off camera responds 'No, what the **** did you do?'
Then the influencer yells back,
I didn't see her! I was looking, I didn't see you. I'm telling you, I did not see you.
Just tell me how I can help?
After she pulls over, she departs the chat quickly, and says, "Alright guys, there's your content."
Her followers were surprised to learn that she did not get arrested or charged with a crime for hitting someone while smoking a joint.
'I'm blessed because I decided to not be a piece of ****,' she said. 'The cop literally told me… "Just so you know, I know how hard that was. Do you know how many hit and runs we have out here?"
She also alleged that the pedestrian was fine.
If this was anywhere but California, I would have my doubts about the whole story, but this episode pretty much epitomizes everything California has become!!
