That rumble you heard yesterday was Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw rolling his single eye at AOC.
Remember how last week AOC was complaining that conservative Senators, unlike her, were just a bunch of fat cats that have never worked a physically difficult job before?
Then she went on to explain how she "gets" the working man's struggle. After all, she was a waitress and cried!
AOC, a true American hero.
Well, Crenshaw went on Megan Kelly's podcast yesterday and put AOC on blast, noting that there are many, many Republicans who have faced MUCH harder situations than getting someone's order wrong at a restaurant.
War, being one example.
He said,
"There's multiple members of Congress, on the Republican side, missing body parts. To say that we just don't know hardship — and there's multiple businesses, multiple people that have real-life experiences, and for you to just dismiss that, it just shows how out of touch she is truly and how insulting she is all the time."
Crenshaw, btw, is a former Navy SEAL who lost his eye fighting for our country (and I'd bet he wouldn't screw up your order of sparkling water either).
The best bit was when Crenshaw took AOC to task for always painting herself as a victim. He said,
"And that playing the victim thing, she really embodies sort of the worst stereotypes of the millennial generation. And it gives us a bad name, and I wish she'd stop."
Delicious. You gotta love this guy.
