Okay, bit of a news flash here: there are apparently still a lot of conservatives in California.
Didn't realize that was a thing.
Good for you guys, though, for sticking it out.
I'm proud of you!
And here's something else I'm proud of: 2 MILLION SIGNATURES HAVE BEEN COLLECTED IN CALIFORNIA TO RECALL GAVIN NEWSOM, AND NOW HE'LL LIKELY FACE A RECALL ELECTION IN THE FALL.
Organizers say they have collected more than 2 million signatures since June. Collections surged in the fall and winter as anger intensified about Newsom's handling of the pandemic. So far, more than 80% of the signatures turned in have been validated.
GLORIOUS!
But of course—OF COURSE!—Gavin Newsom and his Democratic allies have come out and done what they do best: THEY'VE GONE AHEAD AND BLAMED THE RECALL EFFORT ON RIGHT-WING EXTREMISTS!
Couldn't have written it better myself!
Here's Gavin Newsom telling his heartwarming story to the drooling elderly women of The View:
And it doesn't stop there: they've even gone ahead and created a full-on website devoted to this extremely predictable explanation.
"National Republicans, anti-vaxxers, Q-Anon conspiracy theorists and anti-immigrant Trump supporters."
That's a line from a Babylon Bee article, no?
Nope, that's a real website created by real liberals.
And let me just say this real quick: QAnon is easily the best thing that's ever happened to the left. They've now got a giant blanket that they can throw over any and all right-wingers, which automatically paints anyone on the right, even "Epstein didn't kill himself" types, as QAnon conspiracy theorists. If you think the Clintons are terrible crooked people, you're QAnon. If you think open borders encourage child trafficking, you're QAnon. And now, if you think Gavin Newsom should be recalled, you're QAnon.
It never ends!
And the effort to paint all the California recall signees as QAnon whack jobs, that's not just being made by Gavin Newsom. No, it's a group effort.
Check out all these cuties who appear at the bottom of that super-serious anti-recall website!
You gotta love that!
Well, this does end on a very high note, and I'll prove it with yet another screenshot from that website I keep talking about.
Hey, Gavin…
