Either Jen Psaki is the most servile, least scrupulous, most politically slavish White House press secretary that has ever existed, or...she is actually serious here.
Frankly, for her sake, I'm hoping it's the first one.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki broke into tears while discussing Florida's controversial parental rights bill in a podcast released this week.
"I'm going to get emotional about this issue because it's horrible," Psaki said on Jessica Yellin's "News Not Noise" podcast while fighting back tears discussing the Florida legislation recently signed into law by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis tha[t] prohibits classroom instruction on "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" with children in third grade or younger "or in a manner that is not age-appropriate.
Yes indeed, Jen Psaki is upset that a bunch of kindergartners in Florida won't be lectured by their playroom teachers about homosexuality and transgenderism. That is literally what she's crying about.
Here's the audio if you need to hear it for yourself:
Ugh...it's just...so embarrassing. Just humiliating. Jen, my dear, if you're reading this:
Ah well, we'd better get back to passing more of those laws throughout the country! Keep up the great work Republicans!
