Luka Doncic played his first six and a half seasons in Dallas, scoring a whopping 33.86 points per game in his final full season with the Mavericks -- a season that saw the team reach the NBA Finals.
It was February 2 of this year when Luka (and the world) was shocked to learn that he had been traded to the Lakers.
Last night was Luka's return to Dallas, and they made an awesome tribute video for him. His reaction was emotional to say the least.
Those were a long six years in Dallas, and you can tell Luka cherished every moment.
So what did the Slovenian do when he returned to Dallas?
He put 45 points on the board in a 112-97 victory over the Mavs!
Hate to say it, but I might have to root for the Lakers down the stretch this year.
