Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it's the moment we've all truly been waiting for. Two of the top tech CEOs and richest men in the world are set to face off in a winner-take-we-don't-know-yet MMA match for the ages, and we'll all be right here on the internet to witness it.
Yes, you read that all correctly. Elon Musk has challenged Mark Zuckerberg to a cage match and Zuck has accepted the challenge.
Let's see how this all went down (on the internet, of course).
It started with this tweet from Elon dissing on Meta's new Twitter copycat site rumored to be called "Threads."
Then this from a rando, to which Elon promptly responded…
And because the internet is undefeated at everything, we got this over at Instagram from Mark Zuckerberg:
"Send Me Location"
This is, of course, a reference to Khabib Nurmagomedov's famous broken-English line he delivered after Conor McCregor attacked his bus with a gang of Irish blokes and threw a dolly through the window.
Elon says the fight will be held in Vegas.
And here's who the internet's money is on in this one:
Pretty neck and neck, but bro, have you seen Zuck lately? Dude's winning Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, no joke.
My money's on Zuck. Sorry, not sorry. He knows BJJ and he's apparently pretty good. As far as Elon's potential strategy, we have a hint from this recent podcast...
Tell me who your money's on in the comments.
