Matt Walsh Is Canceled (Again) Before His Scheduled Talk At Saint Louis University
· Nov 30, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Matt Walsh has been involved in an ongoing saga the last few weeks, centered around his invitation to give a speech at Saint Louis University (SLU), a Catholic, Jesuit school in Missouri.

First, there was a petition. A group of students was so scandalized that a conservative would be speaking on their campus that they started a petition to keep him off campus.

Walsh then responds in the most Matt Walsh-y way possible, by creating his own counter-petition to keep him ON campus.

Needless to say, in the petition wars the Matt Walsh Sweet Baby Gang came out victorious.

It looked like things were good. There was a slight change of venue but the talk would go forward as scheduled.

However, yesterday word got out that there would be a protest against Walsh on campus before the event.

The event was shared by "SLU sluts" which, I'm sure, is an outstanding student organization populated by the best and brightest students on the [checks notes] Catholic campus.

Then the organizers of the event get this email today, the day before the event.

This email came from Dan White, the priest at SLU, basically withdrawing permission for Matt Walsh to speak because of his conservative views.

Walsh responded to the cancelation by defending himself from the charges leveled against him by the priest.

Walsh is, of course, correct. The priest is not allowing Walsh to speak at his church, not because he goes against Catholic doctrine, but against left-wing woke doctrine.

The event will still happen as scheduled, but ANOTHER change in location is imminent.
