California, isn't it beautiful?
They've got the beach, the mountains, and the 3 a.m. street takeovers in Compton, complete with peel-outs, gunshots, and some of the finest looting this side of the Mississippi.
Yes, these street takeovers happen about 2-3 times per month in Compton, and this past week was a doozy as 100 men and women were seen looting a local bakery after crashing a Kia Soul through the barred-up windows of the joint.
Check it out:
What a thrill that must've been for these fine California citizens!
A mob of over 100 looters purposefully crashed a Kia into a small Compton bakery before they flooded in and ransacked the store during a night of rampage on the streets earlier this week.
The thieves had gathered in the area for an illegal street takeover around 3 a.m. Tuesday before making the mile-long trek to Ruben's Bakery & Mexican Food.
When they got to the locked store, a white Kia emerged and backed into the front doors, clearing an entryway for the crowd of pillagers to get to their loot.
When we say they ransacked the store, I'm talking people left with Pringles, lottery tickets, cash registers, meat, and even the scales that weigh the meat. Not only that, but they took all the money โ literally all the money the store had (I don't have a number for ya, sorry).
When police showed up the crowd scattered, and I don't mean to catch you off guard with surprise here, but there have been zero arrests in this case so far.
Hopefully the video evidence can be used to make that happen, but don't count on it.
Oh California, stay classy!
