This British pub owner kicked the now-prime minister out of his pub in 2021 and people are saying he was prophetic

Some people are centuries ahead of their time. Others are centuries behind.

And some people miss their window by just a few short years.

Rod Humphris is one of these people.

He made headlines back in 2021 after throwing now-Prime Minister Keir Starmer out of his pub.

Here's the most British report of the incident from the BBC you'll ever find:

The Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has been thrown out of a pub in Bath after he was confronted by the landlord over lockdown restrictions.

Rod Humphris, who co-runs The Raven pub, said he was unhappy with Labour's response to government lockdown measures.

He said the economy had been sacrificed 'because old people are dying'.

Sir Keir, who was on a walkabout in the city, said he 'profoundly' disagreed.

And so he kicked him out.

Why didn't we listen to Rod?!

Just three years later, and Starmer is heading up a regime that makes 1984 look like Disneyland.

Rod knew that freedom was under attack. Rod knew that even our words would soon be criminalized. Rod knew that if he didn't take a stand, all was soon lost.

We didn't listen.
