It's only the first week of January and we already have a candidate for "Mom of the Year."

32-year-old Sarah Michelle Boone of Arizona reportedly beat her three children and her stepchildren for not wearing masks in their home after the kids tested positive for the 'Rona.

"Police were called to Boone's home Saturday night," reported the Associated Press. "Officers were told that Boone had hit one child in the face, kicked a second one while he was on the floor and picked a third child up by the neck. She allegedly did this in reaction to the children not wearing masks despite having the virus."

When police arrived, Boone had left. They found her walking down the street, allegedly intoxicated, and were forced to tase her when she resisted arrest.

According to a local radio station, it was one of the kids that called the police. Although the ages of the children have not been released, the child that called 911 was the one who said she was assaulting them because they had "tested positive for COVID but were not wearing masks."

Boone was arrested and released the next day on a $5,000 bail. Authorities have cited her for three previous incidents of domestic violence – once in September and twice in November.

I'm sure there's more context to this story, but an abusive parent choking children for not wearing a mask – for a virus that poses nearly zero risk to them at that – is the level of Coronasanity we have reached.

But given the 24/7 fear-mongering of the Left for the past year, I assume the media will be presenting an award to Boone in short order.

After all, only the most aggressive and deadly disciples of #sCiEnCe get prestigious awards!
