This Mother's Day weekend was especially meaningful for one Texas family. Brandi Fields and her son, Kyle, each received their graduate degrees from Texas Christian University on May 9th.
TCU quoted mom, Brandi, in a press release as saying,
Sharing this moment with my son is something I never imagined. We've supported each other through late nights and strict deadlines. To walk the stage together, especially on Mother's Day weekend, is an incredible and meaningful moment for our family.
During his time at TCU, Kyle worked as an equipment manager for the athletic departments, and has his sights set on a career in athletics, telling TCU,
Sports have always been a big part of my life. After graduation, I want to continue to work in the sports industry. The ultimate goal is to work for Nike.
Kyle earned his Master of Liberal Arts degree, while his mother returned to school after a long hiatus in her education to earn her Executive MBA.
