There's some real, SERIOUS journalism happening over at MSNBC as they have finally produced the first, real-life victim of Republican voter suppression.

We've been told it's a real thing, but never given an example of it happening before.

WELL GET READY, because MSNBC has the real story of how a journalist in Texas was not allowed to vote.

The headline:

TX Voter Suppression Comes To Fruition.

SCARY! WHITE SUPREMACY IS EVERYWHERE!!!

Except, well...

So, Carey lived overseas for a while, then when she moved back she was supposed to re-register to vote. The same as literally anyone else if they moved out of state.

And she didn't do that.

Oh no! Police! My vote is being suppressed because I forgot to register!

FACT: SHE ISN'T BEING PREVENTED FROM VOTING!

In the MSNBC interview, she's asked if she's re-registered yet for the next election.

I guess the silver lining is that I can fix this before November.

You, ma'am, are just plain dumb. If you are still allowed to vote, it ain't voter suppression.

The elitism of this lady! Her whole story reeks of "I never imagined it could happen to me." And the interview she talks about how she's able to fight back, but that poor and marginalized voters would probably just give up.

I'm sorry you weren't smart enough to realize that you need to re-register after moving back from overseas, but if THIS is all the Democrats can bring forward to show voter suppression, then it ain't happening.

I have not re-registered yet, but I am going to. I can assure you of that... That will be done and hopefully there won't be any other issues. But you just don't know at this point and it's really unfortunate to go to your polling place with anything other than excitement.

This is just such a perfect example of fake news.
