On Tuesday, Trump had Tesla CEO Elon Musk at the White House and said that the recent string of arson and vandalism aimed at Tesla owners and dealers will be labeled as terrorism since the violence is political in nature.
MSNBC spun it as Trump taking away the First Amendment right to protest:
