MSNBC's Joy Reid wants to remind Americans that their concern about Gabby Petito's tragic disappearance is because they're racists suffering from "Missing White Woman Syndrome"
· Sep 21, 2021 · NottheBee.com

The lesson here is that everything is racist and you are a racist and if you disagree, you are a super-racist:

Gabby Petito's story has indeed captivated the nation. Is it because she's white? Joy Reid certainly thinks so, because she (like every actual racist) sees the world through skin color.

Alternatively, stories like this tend to blow up to national attention when there is drama, romance, mystery, and horror all mixed into a story unfolding through social media.

  • Petito was a social media influencer who was working on growing her brand.
  • There was a dramatic 911 call detailing the physical fight she had her fiancé, Brian Landrie, had in Utah while traveling the country in their camper van.
  • There was a long police cam video of her and Laundrie talking to police and the TikTok testimony of a couple who said they gave Laundrie a lift to a nearby town a few days later and that he was acting weird.
  • Another vlogger couple also reportedly found Petito's camper van abandoned near where her body was presumably found in Utah.
  • A national FBI manhunt is now underway for Laundrie.
  • People are participating in the search in multiple ways, including trail cam shots of people who look like Laundrie.

I'm not the type of person to indulge in murder mysteries or docu-drama TV, but this case has all the hallmarks of that grotesque/fascinating crime that captures people's attention and breaks their hearts.

But yeah, let's just play the race card, Joy Reid. I'm sure that will make things so much better.

Meanwhile, there is real pain and suffering behind the race games Reid is playing.

Such vapid clown-show fodder. No wonder nobody trusts the media anymore.
