Elon told Rogan he bought Twitter to stop the woke "mind virus," then let Rogan SHOOT his Cybertruck. Watch the highlights from this epic interview.

Yesterday on the Joe Rogan Show, Elon Musk showed up to smoke cigars, shoot arrows at his Cybertruck, talk about free speech and government censorship, and lay out a plan for the future.

We've gathered all of the highlights for you, so buckle in.

[Language Warning: Joe Rogan enjoys swearing, so wear earmuffs.]

First, we'll start with what Elon had to say about his purchase of Twitter, and he had A LOT of good things to say.

Elon Musk describes the physical location of Twitter's HQ in San Francisco as a "zombie apocalypse" with no life in it. He then contends that whatever mind virus has zapped Frisco was being "exported" to the rest of the world through the way Twitter was being run.

You have to say, "What philosophy led to that outcome?" And that philosophy was being piped to Earth. So, uh, you know, a philosophy that would ordinarily be quite niche and geographically constrained - so that the sort of fall out area would be limited - was effectively given an information weapon: An information technology weapon to propagate what is essentially a mind virus to the rest of Earth. And the outcome of that mind virus is very clear if you walk around the streets of downtown San Francisco.

It is the end of civilization.

Quite literally, in his mind at least, Elon Musk bought Twitter to save civilization. He saw the fruits it was producing and decided he had to change the direction. He had the money, he had the tools. He took the slings and arrows.

Rogan: What's it (X, formerly Twitter) worth? What do you think it's actually worth?

Elon: Everything.

Guys, I think he really means it.

Besides exporting a woke mind virus to the world, Twitter (under previous ownership) was not just ideologically left but an arm of the deep state, left-wing government.

Musk explains:

Elon: The degree to which Twitter was just an arm of the government was not understood well by the public... It was like Pravda, basically. A state publication. The way to think of old Twitter is a state publication.

Rogan: And was the justification from their perspective that they are progressive liberals, they have the right intentions, it's important that they stay in power, the progressive liberals stay in government and power, because this is their...?

Elon: There was basically an impression of... any views that I would say would even be considered middle-of-the-road, but certainly anything on the right, I'm not talking far-right, anything moderately right. Republicans were suppressed at ten times the rate of Democrats. Now that's because old Twitter was fundamentally controlled by the far left, completely controlled by the far left.

Some of us on the right might be upset that it seems like Elon is moving too slowly because he's taken Twitter away from the far left and has, in a year, moved it to the moderate left.

But it's moving in the right direction, there can be no doubt.

The fact that we have community notes instead of faceless fact-checkers who are all far-left cultists controlling the spread of thought is a miraculous step forward for social media and a model for the future.

It wasn't all about Twitter, of course.

Elon talked about moving to Texas as well.

He also talked George Soros:

The value for money in local races is much higher than in national races... once you get to city/state district attorneys the value for money is really good.

Soros relaaized that you don't really need to change the laws, you just need to change how they're enforced. If nobody chooses to enforce the laws or the law is differentially enforced it's like changing the laws.

Musk is a genius, man. That's why he's so successful. He gets it.

Of course, he had to explain that it was really Mark Zuckerberg who backed out of their much-hyped fight that was supposed to take place in the Colosseum in Rome.

Come on Zuck! We wanted to see a fight!

Finally, here's what you all wanted to see: Joe Rogan shattering an arrow that he tried to shoot through the side of Elon's Cybertruck.

There's some good, good stuff here.
