Utah's Burgess Owens just drops truth bomb after truth bomb in this Wednesday speech chastising Janet Yellen and the Biden administration for saying that abortion is a boon to the economy.
In the eyes of Yellen and the Biden Democrats, the country is better off without black babies being born.
Burgess Owens has a different take.
We've lost over 20 million black babies over the last 40 years. That's 40% of my race exterminated before given a chance to bless our nation with their innate talents.
Based on her (Yellen's) conclusion, their demise is a good thing for our labor force participation rate. Secretary Yellen has obviously concluded that these 20 million black lives would have been an economic drain on our society.
Yeah, they don't want to say that's their argument, but that is one of the left's arguments.
It reminded me of Tim Scott challenge to Yellen's racist claims.
The side that wants to accuse YOU of white supremacy for being pro-life literally thinks it's better if black children are slaughtered before they are born, rather than be born and "drain" our economy.
But remember, if you oppose abortion and want more black people to survive birth, you're a racist.
88% of Planned Parenthood mega-centers targeted women of color. With 80% specifically targeting black communities, and 56% targeting hispanic and latino communities.
For those who love the concept of equity in everything under the sun, including test score outcomes, when it comes to the death of the unborn, the abortion equity seems to be pretty racist to me.
This is 100% the best example that Kendi or DiAngelo could use to show a racist result from a racist policy. The abortion cause IS racist but the left will never admit it.
But the proof is in the pudding.
Abortion is not healthcare.
healthcare doesn't result in the intentional death of over 60 million human beings.
It undermines the dignity and worth of every individual and their God-given right to life.
Owens then goes on to tie the pro-life message to the classic American dream message.
And he's right. We live in the greatest country in the world, and if you've been deceived into thinking that you can't be successful because of your race or circumstances, then it's easy to see why the Biden message makes sense.
"The whole world is racist against you. You can't succeed. Give up. Why even bring kids into this awful country?"
That's the message of the left, but Owens' life demonstrates the complete falsehood of that worldview and shows why there's (still) no place in the world better to be born than the United States!
